Darra Jindalee Catholic Parish

On behalf of the parishioners and myself, I welcome
you to our parish community of Darra-Jindalee. We trust this website gives you insight into our vibrant believing community. Our Parish motto is “Be Strong in Faith and Love”.

Each of our parishioners are encouraged to actively participate in our parish life. For example, being part of a ministry such as St. Vincent de Paul, minister of Holy Communion, reading and music ministry. There are so many ministries which people are called to in this parish so please click here to find out more.

Myself and the parish staff are always here to serve. Pat and Louise are our Parish Secretaries, Judi coordinates the Sacramental Program, with Sabrina for added support, and Luisa is our Youth Coordinator and Parish Worker.

PLENARY COUNCIL 2020
Listen to what the Spirit is saying.... The last time the Catholic Church in Australia held a Plenary Council was in 1937. It has been more than 80 years since we gathered all of the Church together and much has changed. In 2020 we will have a Plenary Council about the future of the Catholic Church in Australia. What are we called to do? Who are we called to be? How do we need to change? The journey toward the Plenary Council will help us to prepare to listen to God be listening to one another. We invite all people to engage, to be a part of the listening and dialogue encounter in the next two years. www.plenarycouncil.org.au
